Canon Pre-production

In order to make sure that I know where I am recording, when I am recording and if I have permission to record, I have to use forms. Below are location scouting forms that are used when looking for possible locations. For example, a company may have many locations to chose from, but they need to record on certain dates and times. The location scouting sheets contain information about the soundscape, dates and times you can record, address and who to contact. After going through the scouting process a company will narrow the locations down to the best area to record in. After this, they will contact the company for permissions to record and finalize details. I have my own versions of these forms which grant me permission to record in Wingate, The A19 and my The Dene. To make recording as safe as possible, risk assessments must be taken in order to know what poses as a risk. Due to the photos being taken by myself there are not many risks but they must be done. This way, before recording starts I can check off what to do to reduce the chance of injury.
