Smile Podcast Notes/script

When going into the podcast I don’t want to be thinking on the spot about what we are going to talk about. I want the podcast to seem natural and not feel like we are reading off a script. Therefore, I am not going to make this plan extremely detailed. I want to give the cast the option to talk about their own experiences in their own way and not feel held back. This will engage with the audience more as they will feel like the cast are being honest and will give the impression that our advice will help. 


Start: 

  • Welcome to the Mind Smile Podcast 

  • Introduce the people  

  • Talk about the purpose of the Podcast 

Main: 

  • When would you say is the last time you lost motivation completely? 

  • From that, what helped you get back to your normal self? 

  • Were any of the method's unhealthy obsessions? (Retail therapy) 

  • Do you know it's better to be happy before buying clothes? Prioritize being positive rather than being happy. (Toxic positivity) 

  • Did you ever do things or activities in order to fit in? 

  • Did or do any of you exercise and did you have any effects on mental health? 

  • Do you ever go on a walk to relax? 

End: 

  • Thank you for listening to the podcast 

  • Summarize to the audience ways that people have bounced back and encouraged them to get out/ do what makes them happy. 

 

 

Now that I have this basic script I can go into the podcast with a clear idea of points that I need to make and will not run into similar issues like I did in the trial podcast episode.
