Smile Audience profile

In here is my audience profile which shows the audience clearly. After I finish my research, in a work environment, I would send this to the rest of the team members so they can see visually see what the audience are like and what we would need to include in order to meet the audience.  Audience profile from Bailey44

Rational

In the real world, you would have to present you ideas to the client in order to get the "green light". This rational is a showcase of my research and my ideas. This showcase is to show the client that you understand them, the purpose of the video and how you are going to relate to audience. This rational is what all of my research has lead up to. Codes and conventions

Codes and conventions are typical key elements that are found in media products.   For example, film posters include billing blocks, Titles and images.     Neale and genre theory – repetition and difference   For example,  James  bond movies are  repetitive  but they change all the time in actors and storyline. Western Video Edit Breakdown

https://youtu.be/t2JGtRTVMxQ Within editing, my video began with the rise from black. This is a dissolve transition and opened with my characters walking. I wanted the video to be very continuous. Therefore my cuts are hard and cut with music and action. In order to make the sense of cutting from wide to extreme close less abrupt, I edited very carefully. My video cuts from a wide shot to a close up foot shot and then back to the wide shot. this is then repeated. By doing this the audience are dipping in and out of the action. It then starts a rhythm for the video. The audience get into an "in and out" rhythm. By this point the audience have seen the characters walk to a halt. When beginning the editing, I muted each segment of music and slowly faded them in. This makes the track start to uncontiously build tension. After the characters halt, the music makes a whistling sound which is where I start to use my cuts. I cut to an over the shoulder shot which makes the audience fe

Western Video Plan

We have been tasked to make a short style western video that represents what we have learnt about camera techniques and editing techniques. The video will have a beginning, Middle and End. Beginning: The video will start with a rise from black and will start with a wide shot. Both characters will be placed at opposite ends of the frame this means that the audience will be able to clearly who the showdown is between and their relationship. The negative space between the characters will show that they don't even want to be near each other.  There will then be equal high angle shots of the characters moving through the frame in a 180 circle. this replicates the good bad and ugly, however by adding cuts, it amplifies movement and creates tension. Middle: In my video I will aim to have a collection of close up, cowboy, medium and dirty single shots. the middle section of my video will be a compilation of shots that are all equal. This way the audience can't tell who the villain or
